The Hum of Yin no Piano
I thought about blogging the new Darker than Black episode this week, but ultimately decided I can’t. Here are 5 things that look like reasons for this development.
Reason #1: I can no longer rationalize away the possibility that Yin will die, nor can I rationalize away the possibility that she will live. I know Hei won’t be the one to kill her if she does die, but Suou just might be the one to pull the trigger.
Reason #2: There is so much in the air right now I will just be rehashing plot.
Reason #3: Yes, the reason for the title of this post is a result of Yin humming Yin no Piano in the opening scene (with the contractors who were dead and dying). That’s pretty badass, but morbidly depressing and the biggest indicator of something being very, very wrong.
Reason #4: Yin is broken and I don’t want to write until they fix her (Though I’m afraid they’ll choose to kill her instead).
Reason #5: I can attempt to post something really good next week instead of having to backtrack over a thousand failed predictions.
So until next week stay strong. If you haven’t watched the episode yet it might be best if you don’t and wait to marathon it. It has left too much suspense for the final episode, I can hardly stand it.

Poor Yin I’m scared they will kill her off.
BTW thanks for the tips on my paper that you sent me. I did get them and it did help.
No Problem!
I actually thought about it for what was probably too long last night and came to the conclusion that they probably won’t kill her. It would be in pretty bad taste to kill off Yin and then release OVAs about her and Hei before this whole mess in January. I mean who would want to watch those if she was dead. It would be some cruel kind of torture. I actually think Hei is going to save her. At least I hope that’s the case. We’ll see.
The biggest revelation this episode is Mao’s real name. This means of the original crew, Hei’s is the only one we still don’t know. It also leaves Hei as the only bona fide Chinese guy.
Yes, this is important stuff.
Oh man, how could I have missed that? Excellent observations as always
. I’m still waiting to see what awaits the end of the season. I don’t know how much longer I can stand this waiting.
In all serious, chances are this stuff wlll never come up and will have no significance whatsoever. I just don’t feel equipped to say anything of substance when everything is weighing on the next episode.
That said, how are they possibly going to wrap it all up in just one more episode? You know what kind of ending I’m rooting for now? One that leads to a season 3.
I agree but my hopes are smaller. I just want Yin to survive next episode. I’ve heard lot’s of rumors about season 3 depending on the success of this season and the OVAs. Hopefully they do well.
They could wrap it up in one episode by having the gate explode (taking the world with it). This is not a scenario I’m rooting for.
