The Winner: Seitokai no Ichizon
(Disclaimer: This image is not real, Unfortunately for Ken it is once again a product of his imagination online buy Ampicillin src=”http://yinnopiano.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif” alt=”” />)
I almost named this category OMG ROFLMAO FYI IMNSHO RL MOTOS AFAIK are 1337. This Category is so Subjective TTYL, but ended up scrapping it because it was too awesome.

Studio Deen might not have the amazing animation of KyoAni, the stylistic appendages of Shaft, or the original stories of Gainax, but they hit gold when they bought Seitokai no Ichizone. Unlike many comedies Seitokai no Ichizon wasn’t really carried by visual humor like the infamous Fumoffu. It was carried by intelligent jabs at its own median and colorful characters. I was surprised by how much the series made me laugh. I was even more surprised at how much the series made me become involved with the characters.
As Blog Suki put it Seitokai could have delivered a lot more comedy if they had dropped the serious elements of the plot. It’s true it could have, but I’m still of the opinion that if you can do both effectively you should and Seitokai was one of those rare shows that, I think, delivered both.
As for purchase cheap pills favorite moments of comedy. I loved when Elise-chan came to the student council and schooled Ken at the word game with all her knowledge of aluminum compounds. I really liked all the times they broke the fourth wall to talk about where they should go with their own anime. In the end Seitokai never took itself that seriously, which allowed the viewer to take what he/she wanted from it. I hope to see more of this series in the future :).
Congratulations Seitokai no Ichizon for phentermine winning Best Comedy!
The runner up: Maria Holic
Man I had a hard time deciding between this and Hayate no Gotoku. The more I thought about it though the more I realized Maria Holic just did a lot better.
It’s hard to say what makes a series funny. Most of the time I just pick out moments and say “that was funny”. Somehow trying to explain the comedy just kind of ruins it. Still I won’t cop out and just say “It’s my opinion so there”, I’ll try to explain.
Maria Holic had really interesting characters. Their quirks really pulled the series and often were responsible for the plot of particular episodes. For instance in one of the early episodes with Ishima, Ishima is picked as Kanako’s roommate (to the latter’s delight) but this ends with a group of girls having it out for the cheerful, sexually perverse, Kanako. Through a series of escalating events it results in Ishima becoming a samurai to protect Kanako (which doesn’t work at all) which only makes the girls more jealous. I guess Maria Holic really highlighted that feeling of futility. No matter what we do it just gets worse, at least until we’re honest with ourselves. Like everyone else I also believed that Mariya was just flat out hilarious. We often see the people who hide their real selves behind a mask of friendly cuteness, but Mariya takes it to a whole new level. order cheap tabs He hides a demon behind a mask of the ojou-chan. To make it all the better he only lets Kanako know his secret (which annoys Kanako to know end). The relationship dynamics of this cheap zithromax series were great. Hayate no Gotoku was good, but it was much lighter and on the surface. I didn’t feel it really achieved the “level” of comedy Maria Holic did :).
Congratulations to Maria Holic for being runner up for Best Comedy!

Lol you sure come up with some great titles.
I’m glad you picked Seitokai no Ichizon first :D
Thanks!
wow… so far all your cool down posts pretty much match up to my “religious” beliefs. I have agreed with all your choices so far. Damn creepy.
Lol, maybe it’s just because they are awesome. I’m glad though I wouldn’t want to miss any deserving shows :).
Oh dear, then I must be missing out on something awesome. I watched Seitokai no Ichizon up till Episode 2 then got distracted and never really returned on track. I guess I should utterly regret that decision now.
As for a series I’ve watched which did bring much smile and laughter to me, I’ll go with Taishou Yakyuu Musume. Despite a seemingly “uninteresting” premise of having girls in the Taishou era playing baseball just to shove a statement down boys’ throat, I found it surprisingly good in an endearing way. It’s one of those shows which succeeded in making me giggle, laugh and accidentally spurt drool at my monitor in almost every episode. The best part of it was the characters weren’t even deliberately trying to be funny but they ended up doing stuffs which are stupid and hilarious one way or another. After finishing the series, I had to say it was one of the most underrated shows of Summer 2009 (depending on your Anime preferences).
As for Maria Holic, I have a love-hate relationship with it. I hated the way Mariya abused Kanako but at the same time, I found their interactions amusing (what a hypocritical statement on my part). Matsurika is my fave though. Talk about an amazing maid who even dares to insult her master with a deadpan face.
I haven’t seen Taishou Yakyuu Musume. I’ve heard whispers of it on the internet, but it sounds like I’m missing out on something hilarious and heaven knows we can all use a few more laughs in our life.
Yeah I have a pretty love hate relationship with Maria Holic myself. When it came right down to it though I did laugh more during that show than I did during others (even though it wasn’t always funny).
Seitokai is good in a way I didn’t expect. It might also be that it’s the newest and freshest in my mind.
