 Well, not that I thought too much about this anime, since I keep on watching over and over again because I get lost with the order in where things happens and so on. I would say "Elmer Albatross" uses his time to get lots of money and make people smile. After all, it seems that all of them live in the moment and don't really change their way of seeing life as Firo suggested that he really don't think about it, I wonder if he got it from Isaak and Miria. Anyways, I enjoyed your review. ;-)

Yep, the character growth is non-existent. That's actually probably the weakest aspect of Baccano!, but lucking for them that wasn't really they point. They wanted to show collisions of type A personalities for explosive effect. It was pretty fun so I can't fault them to much for having characters realize their entire existence has been meaningless half way through the show.

"That really wasn’t my intention."

Lol. No worries. I just have a simple mind which always grasp the "hotness" (as in babe Xp) factor of a picture before I begin to interpret it.

"I would think the characters would change a lot after gaining immortality."

Indeed. If I remember Bacanno! correctly, most of the characters didn't exactly try to come up with something worthy to their new found ability of immortality, right? Like world conquest or the sort...
Instead, they continue with what they were doing before achieving immortality. Like territorial fights... or theft. Xp

According to Wikipedia Baccano means 'noise' which kind of makes sense for the series since it's a bunch of character's stories mashing together to make noise.

I forgot howhot Ennis was until I saw your picture.

That really wasn't my intention.

I don't know about their mind staying the same, because they sure didn't seem to change after achieving immortality. Maybe that was a condition in the light novel that never made its way into the anime. It would sure make a lot more sense. I would think the characters would change a lot after gaining immortality.

Have a happy Saturday Rest, God knows you probably need one. We all do on some level.

I forgot howhot Ennis was until I saw your picture.:p

" I don’t understand is how he couldn’t have been just a little darker about being stuck in a kid’s body"
Good point, you would wonder 700 years would have been plenty of time for a kid to grow up. Or rather, for a mind to mature. :)
Wait... Did the anime at any point mentioned that upon achieving immortality, the mind would stay the same as well?

Cause if you think about it. Dallas was pretty much a spoiled kid. Lol... Ok. I admit, that was a poor argument. -.-"
It's Friday night... Lol. My brain started slowing down after work. And it's just the beginning. I get dumberer on Saturday nights. HahahA. And dumberest on Sunday. LOLOL.

Also, I never really gave a deep thought to Isaac and Miria and the things they did/stole. I didn't even notice the Bacanno chocobar. Or I forgot. -.-"

But seriously... what does Bacanno mean anyway? :)
