My wonderful sister got me a video camera for my birthday so I finally had the chance to record this song.
The J-Pop song wasn’t my favorite at first, but truthfully Kagami is just so dere that I couldn’t help but fall in love with it listening to it over and over again while working on a Dairy farm. I’m in love with this transcription and although I’m sure it took me far more hours to learn to play this then the hours I spent studying Economics this quarter I still feel it was worth it. If you want the transcriptions and the midi you can find them on Josh’s site and if you want an mP3 not performed by me (which means it’s better) leave a comment and I’ll put it up on the site.
This is another song I wrote. I guess I’m feeling particularly inspired this week. This actually is for a character I’m intending to write about very soon in a new short story called The Minotaur as one might imagine. I hope you enjoy it (although I’m pretty sure I go out of the range of a music box a couple of times). I’m just going to give the mpeg and if anyone is actually interested in the piano sheets just leave a comment and I’ll post those as well.
Alright so I was a bit bored/procrastinating today and was goofing around on my keyboard (which normally happens when I’m procrastinating) and started playing this pretty fun melody. I found it a bit haunting, like the kind of music you hear in the background of some puzzle game. Anyways I liked it so much I decided to write it down as well as make a fun midi with a bunch of different instruments. If you’re an aspiring programmer who is making a puzzle game and needs some free midi music then go ahead and use this I don’t mind. Just leave me a comment letting me know you’re going to and send me an e-mail with the game link so I can procrastinate in less productive ways :). Anyways I hope you enjoy wasting some time listening to my efforts.
I’ve gotten a lot of hits on my site for Maria Holic Sheets and I must admit I found the ending especially cute, so I spent today transcribing the song. The raised octaves are what you’ll hear in the midi, but if you’re piano like instrument doesn’t have the range or your fingers being in the way of each causes too much trouble just ignore them !!
To download the midi to your computer just right click for the drop down menu and left click save link as…
I hope you enjoy the transcription and please leave a comment telling me what you think. I can’t find a video on youtube due to the recent licensing of it in the US so you’ll have to watch the show or go find it yourself. I know that they really cut cost in terms of animation by going with the gameboy look, but still it brought back good memories of gameboy days. Plus it’s nice to get away from the slow ballad and a melancholy look at all of the characters in anime EDs.
Enjoyed how Kaoru didn’t think much of Junichi until Junichi planted the thought that he thought she would confess to him in her mind. Inception! It worked too.
That said, isn’t Haruhi Suzumiya just a time-traveling version of Inception?
